DeafBlind Intervener Scholarship

Do you work with a student who would benefit from the support of a DeafBlind Intervener? The Washington DeafBlind Program is offering a limited number of scholarships to Central Michigan University’s DeafBlind Intervener program for the 2026-2027 school year. The scholarship will cover the cost of tuition and fees, except for a $50 CMU application fee.

Why apply?

  • 100% online, flexible format
  • Complete in just one year
  • Includes 3 on-site coaching visits from the WA DeafBlind Program
  • Leads to nationally recognized intervener training and credentialing

This program prepares you to provide one-to-one support that helps students who are deafblind with access to communication, learning, and independence in meaningful ways.
