WSSB UEB Recertification Class

WSSB will offer a 3-part class over Zoom to help professionals prepare for their Washington State UEB Recertification.  If you have successfully completed the Braille competency test developed at Washington State School for the Blind, you must renew it every 5 years to maintain UEB certification in Washington.  If you held a UEB certification by taking the WSSB UEB exam but it has been more than 5 years and your certification has lapsed, you are required to take the full certification exam or see other options.  More information can be found at the WSSB website: Unified English Braille | Washington State School for the Blind

The Washington State UEB Exam is one option for certification of braille competency in our state.  All of the options can be found in section 1 of the WAC: WAC 181-82-130:.

This class will be offered from 4-5 pm on Tuesdays March 5th, 12th, and 19th.  Participants can attend the classes live or watch recordings afterwards.
