Cane Quest Pacific Northwest

Cane Quest Pacific Northwest will be held in Richland, WA on October 15th. Cane Quest is a regional orientation and mobility contest for students in grades 3-12 organized and run by Richland School District beginning in the fall of 2022. Cane Quest was developed by the Braille Institute of America and aims to empower and celebrate visually-impaired students while bringing the whole community together.

Participants navigate designated routes through instructions and the assistance of volunteers. The routes are designed locally to test skills in navigating residential and commercial areas as well as public transportation.
