Lighthouse Guild National Tele-Support Network

Tele-Support for Parents

Finding out your child is blind or has vision loss can turn your world upside down. You may feel lost and alone, unsure of what your child needs, let alone how to meet those needs. Connect with other parents who understand because they are going through similar experiences.

Tele-Support for Teens

Talk with other teens who are visually impaired from around the country about school, relationships and whatever is on your mind. The group meets on Mondays at 7:00pm eastern via zoom or telephone.

Tele-Support for Young Adults (ages 20 to 34)

Connect with other millennials with vision loss to help build momentum towards your life goals. Learn about helpful resources, develop strategies for maximizing opportunities, and gain independence. The group meets on alternate Wednesdays at 8:00pm eastern via zoom or telephone.

We also offers monthly tele-support presentations given by experts in the field of vision loss on the third Monday of the month. The next presentation will be on Monday, September 20, 2021 at 8:30PM for a discussion on Occupational Therapy and Sensory Integration for Visual Impairment.  All are welcome to join, register here.
