We are in the initial phase of securing individual spots for students who are interested in attending the NW Environmental Science Camp this spring at Camp Magruder. The guidelines for participation in camp are:
Students are capable of being away from home for three nights.
Students are able to dress themselves, with minimal assistance.

July 5 – 16, 2015
What? A two-week program for students 14-16 years old, who need minimal assistance with their independent living and travel skills. YES 1 offers students the opportunity to explore their interests and aptitudes through different assessments, to explore different careers, and to visit work sites. Special guest speakers talk with students about the challenges of work as a blind individual, students practice the skills needed to find and procure a job, including filling out applications, participating in mock interviews, building a resume, and creating a career portfolio.

Join us for these workshops on CVI with Dr. Christine Roman-Lantzy
This training is designed to equip educators with the most current knowledge of CVI and provide participants training in how to use the CVI Range and the development of effective educational programming. This workshop is open to anyone working with a student that has CVI.
